Mercedes-Benz has launched the EQE SUV, its fourth EQ model to be based on a new bespoke electric platform.
The EQE SUV is priced from £90,560.
It is essentially a raised-up version of the EQE saloon, offering a range (WLTP) of 324 - 334 miles.
The twin motor EQE 350 4Matic provides the longest range and serves up 292PS and 765Nm. It can accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds. The EQE 500 4Matic has 408PS and 858Nm, giving a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds.
All versions use a 90.6kWh battery pack, which is capable of rapid charging at up to 170kW and can add 136 miles of range in 15 minutes.
The EQE SUV has a slightly smaller footprint than its saloon counterpart and provides a boot capacity of 520 litres.
Entry-level AMG Line (350 only) models come with 20-inch wheels, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, adaptive LED headlights, keyless entry, a digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch infotainment display and active parking assist.
The £99,260 AMG Line Premium comes with 21-inch wheels, a Burmester Surround Sound system, a built-in dashcam, MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation, a panoramic sunroof and the Driving Assistant Plus package. It also includes a 22kW AC charger.
AMG Line Premium Plus gains the Mercedes Hyperscreen infotainment system, a head up display, heat and noise insulating glass, Digital headlights, rear-wheel steering and 22-inch wheels.
As an alternative to Premium Plus, Mercedes offers the Business Class model line. This includes a TV Tuner with Hyperscreen, rear-wheel steering, as well as a heated steering wheel and seat heating plus.
A towing package is available for £1500 and Hyperscreen can be fitted for £7,995 to AMG Line Premium.
