Vauxhall has confirmed the updated Corsa is priced from £19,625 and is available to order now.
The new model features a raft of updates, including a refreshed interior and a new electric powertrain.
A new 51kWh battery, paired with a new 156PS motor, provides a range of up to 255 miles (WLTP).
The existing 136PS powertrain will also be available, which achieves up to 222 miles between charges (WLTP).
As part of Vauxhall’s simplified range, petrol variants of the new Corsa are available in three trim levels – Design, GS and Ultimate.
The Corsa Electric is available from launch with the next-generation 156PS powertrain in GS and Ultimate trims, while the existing 136PS powertrain will be offered in Design and GS.
Vauxhall will additionally offer petrol variants of the new Corsa, including a new mild-hybrid option.
All Corsa models are equipped with LED headlights as standard. Design trim also benefits from automatic headlights and wipers and rear parking sensors. Infotainment is provided by a seven-inch touchscreen on the Electric Design 136PS, while all other models receive a new 10-inch touchscreen.
GS trim adds a rear-view parking camera, which features a new high-resolution, panoramic display on Electric 156PS models. The alloy wheels are upgraded from 16-inches to 17-inches, while inside there is a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. Electric GS 156PS models also feature keyless entry and start.
Ultimate trim sees the headlights upgraded with Vauxhall’s IntelliLux LED Pixel Matrix light technology. Additional driver assist features include Blind Sport Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Positioning Assist. Comfort is enhanced with heated, massaging seats finished in Alcantara and a heated steering wheel. Keyless entry and start is available on both petrol and Electric variants.
Styling changes include the pure Vizor front end, which brings the car in line with newer modes such as the Astra and facelifted Grandland. The Vizor is composed of a single smooth panel that sits between the LED headlights, housing the advanced Vauxhall driver aids and safety technologies. At the centre of the panel sits the new Griffin logo.
Other updates include 17-inch alloy wheels with a new black-effect detailing, while a shark fin antenna can now be found at the rear of the vehicle.
On the inside, the new Corsa features an upgraded infotainment system with Vauxhall’s latest-generation user interface. As part of the infotainment upgrade, new Corsa models are available with wireless smartphone charging, for the first time, with smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Over-the-Air updates allow owners to access the latest features and developments without taking their vehicle in to a retailer.
The Vauxhall Corsa finished 2022 as the UK’s top-selling supermini and second best-selling car overall, and topped the overall sales charts in 2021. It is also the best-selling car in its segment so far this year.
First deliveries of the new model are set to commence from Q4 2023.
