Amber Services has added a Mercedes Antos with Dennis Eagle Olympus 23 to its fleet through the new contract hire service from Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS).

RVS provided the new vehicle from its range of vehicles that are available from stock, through its RediTruck programme.

Jay Jones, managing director of Amber Services, said: “We are looking at different approaches as to how we finance the expansion and replacement of our fleet.

“With the contract hire option from RVS we get a new vehicle for a fixed cost every month and we don’t need to worry about maintenance or repair bills. At the end of the term we can hand the vehicle back without worrying about its residual value.”

Amber Services provides a host of waste management solutions to the commercial, industrial, domestic, public and private sector clients across South Wales.

The company’s fleet of 30 vehicles comprises Skip and Hook Loaders, Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV), Rear End Loaders, Ejectors and Tail-lifts.

Paul Brown, commercial director of RVS, added: “With our short and long term vehicle hire service we can offer a full support service to customers and they needn’t go elsewhere.  Our workshop capacity and specialist engineering expertise means that we are well placed to offer contract hire and provide maintenance services to prolong the life of our customer’s fleets.”
