Topps Tiles has appointed Ryder as it sole supplier for trailers and has already taken delivery of 17 new units under the contract.
The SDC curtain-siders feature Topps Tiles’ new livery and are fitted with Moffett Mounty forklifts. Ryder plans to renew a further 10 trailers later in the year.
Kevin Smith, Topps Tiles national transport manager, said: "We went through a rigorous tender process and were looking for a partner who understood our business culture and operational demands. The trailers feature the company’s new slogan ‘we go miles for our love of tiles’. Topps Tiles head of marketing Sian O’Neill, explained: "Our vehicles are our billboard and by far our largest advertising tool. Whether travelling on the road network or parked outside our stores it is imperative that the livery presents a strong brand image and consistent message."
