Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has supplied six Transporter and two Caddy vans to software provider InVentry.
The company has purchased the vans for its engineers, who install visitor management software into schools and businesses across the UK.
Brian Halstead, service manager at InVentry, said: “We are delighted with the purchase of the six Transporters and two Caddys. They are a perfect upgrade, allowing our engineers to travel safely and comfortably in a smart, professional looking van.
“As we work across the whole of the UK, it was important to select a vehicle that was comfortable and easy to drive, yet able to carry all of our equipment safely and securely. The Transporter’s car-like manners make it a pleasure to drive over long distances, and we couldn’t be happier with the purchases.”
The new Transporter went on sale in the UK last September and is offered with a range of wheelbases, roof heights, load volumes and payload options.
It is available as a passenger carrier, panel van, chassis cab or dropside and comes equipped with a range of Euro 6 2.0-litre diesel engines, manual and DSG transmissions, and two- and four-wheel drive.
