3D Transport has selected Ryder for the maintenance and servicing of its fleet.
Ryder has an existing relationship with the Glasgow-based business, supplying its core fleet of Daf LF150s and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, for its home delivery work throughout Scotland.
3D Transport’s owner, Mark Hutchison, decided to diversify his business and has taken on two Daf CF440 concrete mixers - working for Tarmac across the central belt of Scotland. Ryder will be responsible for their servicing and maintenance.
He explains: "I had an existing relationship with Ryder and knew that they were a Daf specialist, so it made sense to keep it all of my fleet’s maintenance under one roof.
“Ryder understands my business’s needs: I don’t want any downtime on any of my vehicles, so out-of-hours servicing is really important. At the end of the day, we drive a mixer to Ryder, which supplies a van to allow my driver to get back to our yard and then back to them the next morning to pick the mixer up."
