The Yangtze River Delta Automotive Alliance will present a glimpse into the future of electric vehicle charging with a special digital presentation as part of Fleet & Mobility Live this week.
The Alliance was formed in 2019 and represents Chinese car manufacturers like SAIC Motor, Geely Holding Group, Chery, Jiangsu Society of Automotive Engineers and over 500 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), research institutions, startups and organisations.
The Alliance's mission is to further advance intelligent connected electric vehicles, battery technology, vehicle charging, hydrogen fuel vehicles and improve national grid networks.
One of its members, Sator Tech, is putting together a special digital presentation that will demonstrate its autonomous robots that it says can help solve parking and power accessibility challenges with EV charging.
The technology will become increasingly more important as vehicles become more autonomous and park themselves in locations with car parks like airports, shopping centres and places of work.
Cars will be able to park themselves and then the robots can charge them up while the driver goes about their day.
The digital presentation will be presented on day two of the show on October 4 at 10:15 led by Yin Noe, Yangtze River Delta Automotive Alliance head of UK & EU, alongside Zoey Lin, head of UK & EU, Yangtze River Delta Automotive Alliance, Tyson Tong, founder & chief executive of Sator Tech, Bruce (Bin) Xu, vice president, Sator Tech through videolink.
The show is free to fleet decision makers and offers the opportunity to learn, connect and share experiences on key topics like electrification, cost control, taxation, insurance, safety and more.
Not only is there a packed schedule of panels and presentations, but delegates will also have the largest collection of innovative fleet and mobility suppliers all under one roof.
This includes big leasing suppliers like ALD LeasePlan and Arval, EV infrastructure specialists SMS plc, as well as new electric vehicles to explore from brands like BMW, BYD, Ford, GWM Ora, Honda, Mazda, MG, Mini and Nissan.
