Nissan has added a five-seat Crew Van to the existing Townstar line-up, offered with petrol and electric powertrains.

The Crew Van is based on the L2 version of the Townstar, which was introduced last summer.

Prices start at £26,125 (CV OTR) for the 1.3-litre TCe petrol version, in Tekna specification. The Townstar EV Crew Van starts at £33,350 (CV OTR + PiVG).

The second seating row is equipped with individual three-point seatbelts, head restraints and an integrated bulkhead, so passengers are protected from any shifting loads in the cargo area.

The Crew Van also features hinged opening windows in the rear.

When more space is needed, customers can fold the second-row seats away to enhance the van's overall capacity by 1.0 cubic metre to 3.1 cubic metres.

Payload is rated at 730Kg for the petrol model and 679Kg for the EV.

To support loading, the Townstar Crew Van features one of the widest opening doors in its category (831mm), allowing easy access to the interior.

When specified with an electric powertrain, the Townstar Crew Van provides a range of up to 162 miles (WLTP combined). There's 22kW AC charging and rapid-charging of up to 80kW, providing the ability to charge from 15% to 80% in 37 minutes.
