Stephen Hayward has acquired removals firm Pearson Home Moving from The Vogue Group.
Pearson operates their International fleet from Middlesbrough where the business was founded, and also runs a Sales Centre based in Sutton Coldfield.
Hayward said: “This is a great business with terrific growth potential, based on delivering outstanding service to customers, and I am proud to be the new owner of a business moving towards its Centenary year in 2017 with youthful vigour!”
Hayward has held a number of senior roles within the Logistics Sector; including MD of Palletline during its formative years, and MD of Christian Salvesen’s UK Transport business.
Frances Reed, managing director of Pearson said: “This is an incredibly exciting period in the timeline of our company. Stephen has tremendous energy and is truly inspirational. Our team encompasses almost 100 staff at the two locations and every employee is fully committed to driving the company forward under Stephen’s stewardship”.
Reed added: “I have spent many years with Pearson Home Moving as accounts manager, General Manager, Director and former owner. I have seen the company grow into one of Europe’s most successful removal companies, strengthening our commitment to long lasting customer relationships.”
