LeasePlan UK has announced three new appointments to the senior management team.
David Rodriguez has been appointed as head of remarketing after previously holding the role of LeasePlan general manager for dealer engagement for more than three years, where he was responsible for implementing an appointed dealer strategy across the business.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the remarketing of all LeasePlan UK's used vehicles across existing remarketing channels, while also developing the future approach to ensure that the remarketing strategy remains relevant in an evolving marketplace.
Rodriguez has also held a number of roles within Ford and Mazda including a number of senior leadership roles at Mazda UK.
In addition, Mark Mercieca has also been appointed as head of consumer Insight. He will manage areas such as customer loyalty and driver survey insight to make informed decisions about improving the service LeasePlan provides its customers.
Mercieca joins from Nationwide Building Society and has held a number of roles in the customer experience arena, in particular designing the customer experience for Heathrow Terminal 2.
Finally, Jo Ewen has been appointed as interim brand director for LeasePlan Go following the appointment of Tom Brewer as network brand director.
Ewen has been with the business for three years as regional director for the LeasePlan brand, where she has made significant contributions in terms of volume and profitability growth, as well as overseeing an increase in customer loyalty. Prior to her time with LeasePlan, Ewen worked for the RAC and Europcar as well as sales and client services director with FMG.
