Drive Software Solutions has promoted director of sales and marketing, Simon West-Oliver, to the newly created role of marketing director.
West-Oliver has close to thirty years of automotive technology marketing experience that he will call upon to further develop the brand’s marketing activities in support of Drive Software Solutions’ growth in the UK and overseas.
The Oracle based DRIVE system is Drive Software Solutions main product.
West-Oliver will be responsible for driving a marketing strategy targeted at achieving sustainable growth and accelerating the brand towards its 5% UK market share goal.
Talking about West-Oliver’s new role, Martin Drake, one of the founders of Drive Software Solutions said, “Simon’s profile and wealth of industry experience has been critical to the development of Drive Software Solutions, enabling us to expand and evolve as a business. Our DRIVE technology has been so successful in transforming the performance of the vehicle leasing businesses who have implemented it, that the next phase in our growth is going to be very exciting.”
Prior to joining Drive Software Solutions, West-Oliver launched the FOCIS (Fleet Operators Computerised Information System) in 1988, which dominated the standalone micro based solutions space the early years of the development of such systems.
