Having recently returned from five years in Australia, Mark Hankey is returning to BCA to take on a group business development role.
Hankey (pictured) said: “To be returning home to BCA as the business continues to lead the industry is an exciting prospect and I am looking forward to renewing relationships with the team and contacts throughout the UK and Europe “
Hankey originally joined BCA in 1992, initially as dealer development manager for the north and Scotland and since that time held numerous positions in all market sectors for BCA, including national sales manager. He was appointed UK sales director in 2005. He last worked for BCA in 2012, leaving for Australia with his family that year.
Prior to joining BCA he held sales management roles with ACL and Interleasing. Latterly he held a sales director role for Cox/Manheim in Australia.
BCA’s executive chairman Avril Palmer-Baunack said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark back to the BCA family at this exciting time in the development of our business.
“His extensive experience across a broad range of disciplines will prove very useful as BCA continues to work with OEMs, fleet operators and dealers to provide value and efficiency across the UK's automotive supply chain.”
