Steve Roberts has been appointed head of sales at Mini UK just over a year after being named general manager for corporate sales at BMW.
He replaced Rob East, who became general manager for national sales, in March 2022. East had led corporate sales for the BMW and Mini brands since joining the group in 2019.
They were among several management changes within BMW’s UK sales division announced at the same time, after it created the new role of general manager future retail.
Roberts, Mini UK’s new head of sales, has more than 25 years’ experience with BMW Group UK. He was previously in charge of Mini corporate and used cars between 2017 and 2019.
BMW is yet to announce who will be replacing Roberts as general manager for corporate sales.
