Hanson UK’s fleet has gained gold accreditation in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).

The gold award was previously held only by Hanson’s cement division, but has now been awarded across all business lines, demonstrating that the company’s 352 vehicles and 11 operating centres perform to the highest standard.

The recognition is in line with Hanson’s 2020 sustainability targets and follows significant investment in the fleet over the last few years.

“The FORS gold award demonstrates that we continue to place safety and compliance at the core of our business values,” said distribution manager Ray Govier.

“The fact that we have gained this top recognition across all our vehicles is testament to our long standing commitment to health and safety.”
