Transolva has partnered with TruTac to provide bespoke operator services including tachograph analysis.
Phil Bond, Transolva’s managing director, said customised services are popular due to operators achieving maximum efficiency and high compliance levels based on individual needs.
“A retailer will have an in-house or ‘own-account’ fleet which unlike a stand-alone logistics or distribution business operates under a restricted licence. Typically, we will support and hand-hold from the beginning. This includes an initial consultation to assess compliance requirements, identifying an action plan and then designing a process to work through to achieve compliance excellence.”
Bond said: “We will determine the best software systems, supply hardware, arrange installations, training and even daily support for tachograph analysis, driver performance monitoring and debriefing. We can interface with departments such as traffic and HR to provide RTD (Road Transport Directive) working time reports and other reports as needed.”
Transolva supply a full range of software for tachograph analysis, time and attendance, tracking and smartphone daily vehicle defect reporting. They also sell hardware, compliance stationery, defect reporting books, PMI inspection pads, accident report books and a range of first aid kits.
TruTac provides white labelled software packages for the HGV/LGV and PCV/PSV sectors.
Jemma James, TruTac’s director of commercial operations and marketing, said, “Our white labelled web-based systems are easy for consultants to manage and provide instant access to data including dashboards and KPI reports. All our systems are fully flexible, so reports and portals can be branded and tailored to suit the consultants or their customers’ requirements and above all, keep it legal.”
Through one of their divisions, TransTrain, Transolva also provide a wide range of transport-related courses, including health and safety, first aid, driver CPC, ADR training and fork lift truck training.
