Well Pharmacy has signed a three year deal with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles to take delivery of 450 new vans.

The deal is primarily for Caddy vans, with Well Pharmacy choosing the Caddy for its reputation for reliability and Volkswagen’s aftersales support package.

Dispensing more than 74 million prescriptions a year, Well Pharmacy operates 780 pharmacies across the UK.  

Brian James, fleet and home delivery manager at Well Pharmacy, said: “Keeping our national prescription delivery team on the road is vital, as our customers’ health depends on the swift delivery of their medicine. When selecting our fleet partner, we took into consideration those areas that most affected our business, including vehicle quality, aftercare service and whole life costs.
