The LDV van brand has returned to the UK, and showcased its new range of vans and passenger vehicles at the Commercial Fleet Van and Truck show.
Imperial Commercials are one of the approved retailers, operating from four dealer sites. They had the V80 panel van on display and available for test drives, alongside a chassis.
Steve Affleck, Imperial Commercials regional director, was on stand along with his sales team to spread the word about the LDV brand and let people know LDV is firmly back in business.
Visitors could also get a good look at the LDV G10 luxury people carrier, which isn’t due to go on sale until next year. It will share a base with the company’s upcoming small panel van and will feature a Euro 6 compliant diesel engine.
LDV’s return comes courtesy of its new Chinese owners – SAIC Maxus which is one of the largest vehicle producers in the world, building over 6 million vehicles a year.
The brand is planning to expand its dealer network to 40 sites and will add an SUV and a pick-up to its range by 2020.
