Revive, a mobile car care and smart repair organisation, has adopted an advanced vehicle tracking solution from Ctrack to support its growth strategy in the UK.
The company will use Ctrack Online across a fleet of specially-designed and-adapted vans, which are used by a nationwide team of 165 in-house and franchisee technicians, to enhance customer service, operate efficiently and duty of care.
Mark Llewellyn, managing director of Revive, said: “As well as serving the general public direct, we work with some of the UK’s leading fleet management and insurance companies, so we need to operate in a responsible manner and provide the highest quality service at all times.
“We selected Ctrack Online not only for its added functionality, but also the increased speed and ease-of-use of the system. This will enable us to gain added visibility and control over our fleet to ensure we are meeting SLAs, operating efficiently and removing risk from our business.”
Ctrack Online will replace an existing telematics system that was no longer meeting the needs of the business.
The Ctrack solution will initially be used to improve driver behaviour, increase security and eliminate unauthorised usage, while targeting cost reductions such as fuel and wear and tear.
It will also help streamline fleet management processes as Revive increases the number of technicians operating nationwide.
In particular, Revive will use the tracking systems’ reporting package to monitor and analyse key fleet data. Speeding and driver performance reports will enable the company to identify and address any issues with driving styles, while the unauthorised usage report will ensure technicians are complying with its out-of-hours driving policy.
Revive will also integrate Ctrack Online with its fuel card data to verify purchases and gain insight into consumption.
“Ctrack has worked closely with us to tailor the tracking system to our exact needs," Llewellyn said. "Their team is always on hand to provide support and guidance, which has simplified and streamlined the deployment to avoid any disruption to the business.
"We are already seeing a huge improvement over the previous system and we expect to achieve significant benefits moving forward as it becomes embedded within our internal processes.”
