APC Overnight has achieved a Bronze RoSPA Health and Safety Award – the second time that it has been recognised, having also received the Bronze Award in 2017.

Collecting the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) award on behalf of APC Overnight were William Russell, health, safety and environment manager; Marc Oliver, assistant health, safety and environment manager and Katie Taylor, day operations manager.

Jonathan Smith, chief executive of APC Overnight, said: “We are very proud to have once again achieved a Bronze RoSPA Award, recognising the safety of our workplace and our people.

“It is credit to the collective effort and determination of our staff to create a safer working environment for all our employees across our hubs and head office.”

The RoSPA Awards are now in their 62nd year, and are open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the globe.

Judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

The majority of the awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels.
