New Renault Master: prices, payload and dimensions

Renault has confirmed the prices and specification for the new Master as it starts taking orders for September delivery.

The heavily revised model has a new front end with a raised bonnet height and larger grille. This gives a more truck-like appearance and allows the Master to suck in enough air to meet the latest Euro 6d-Temp emissions standards.

A new dashboard is the centerpiece of the fully revamped interior. It offers large storage areas and a new infotainment system.

Rear view Assist is a rear-view camera that provides medium to long-distance rear visibility via a display on the upper part of the windscreen, while Side Wind Assist provides stability assistance in the event of side winds and is activated over 45 mph and can correct up to 50% of the vehicle’s lateral deflection in extreme conditions.

Front parking assistance, Blind Spot Warning and the optional Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), which operates both in urban environments and on motorways, also feature on New Master.

Power is provided by a new range of 2.3-litre dCi engines. Power has been improved across all models, with a peak of 180PS and 400Nm.

All models are also more fuel efficient.

The fully-electric ZE offers a real-world driving range of up to 75 miles and can be fully charged in six hours. It offers a payload of up to 1,100 kg.

In total, there are 99 versions of New Master, offering a choice of lengths and engines. Depending on the version, they can be specified in two trim levels – Business and Business+.

New Master also forms the basis for several ‘off-the-shelf’ Renault Pro+ conversions – Luton Box Van, Luton LoLoader, Aluminium Tipper, Dropside.
