Coolair Equipment has taken delivery of 20 Citroen vans, with the new fleet including all three models in the Citroen LCV range – Berlingo Van, Dispatch and Relay.  

The vehicles are being used across Coolair’s network of sites for specific applications in the business and have all been supplied by Citroen franchised dealer Robins and Day, Sale.

The commercial air conditioning systems supplier has taken delivery of six Berlingo Van models in ‘XL’ length and top of the range ‘Driver’ specification for its Aftersales Division, 13 Dispatch ‘XL’ length, also in top of the range ‘Driver’ specification for its installations teams, and a Relay BlueHDi 140 L3H2 in best-selling ‘Enterprise’ trim for their Manchester-based Ducting Team.

Helen Sharratt, finance director at Coolair Equipment, said: “Our fleet is replaced every three years to make sure that we always have modern, reliable vehicles on the road.

The specification of the Citroen vans delivered to Coolair includes air conditioning, cruise control, satellite navigation, DAB radio, speed limiters and rear parking sensors.

The ‘Driver’ specification Berlingo Vans includes Citroen Advanced Comfort features such as additional acoustic insulation and ‘Comfort’ driver’s seat.

Surround Rear Vision is also included, providing side and rear cameras so the driver can monitor the area immediately behind and to the nearside of the van, even with the standard unglazed rear doors.

Well-appointed Citroen Dispatch ‘Driver’ specification includes a 180-degree rear-parking camera, adaptive cruise control, collision alert and Active Safety Brake, all designed to keep Coolair Equipment Limited’s employees safe and its fleet in pristine condition.
