Mediafleet has almost completed new branding for 190 new Royal Mail electric vans.
Royal Mail said that the expansion of its fleet of electric vans served as an example of the company’s efforts to continue to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions associated with its operations.
Paul Gatti, Royal Mail fleet director, said: “As a company, we are committed to making changes to our operations that reduce our environmental impact, whilst ensuring we continue to meet customer expectations.”
The 100% electric vehicles have been branded using the colouring coating system ‘WrapidCoat’ in a shade of green, with the traditional red colour appearing to be ‘pealed back’.
Barnaby Smith, managing director of Mediafleet, said: “Winning such a prestigious and high-profile contract from Royal Mail further underlines Mediafleet’s vehicle branding expertise.
"Royal Mail’s branding team saw the potential of a unique vehicle livery to promote the new electric vans, which were to be delivered as white vans.
“Mediafleet was engaged to assist with artwork production and facilitate prototype design and we also had the capability to handle the volume of vehicles.
"The electric vans have been being delivered by the manufacturers to our Witney headquarters. We have then undertaken the branding work and arranged delivery of the vehicles to Royal Mail.”
