Peugeot has delivered 611 vehicles to 38 different police and fire authorities across the UK.
The latest delivery forms part of an order for more than 1,500 new cars and vans by the 38 different authorities.
The vehicles ordered include Partner, Expert and Boxer vans, and the all-new 208 and e-208, 308, 508, the 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV.
Vehicles delivered so far consist of: 308 and 308 SW; Traveller; 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV; Partner, Expert and Boxer vans; as well as the all-new 208 and e-208.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Peugeot also continued to supply loan vehicles at no cost to support to the police and fire services.
Gary Mallett, fleet manager for West Midlands Police, said: “Peugeot has provided eight loan vehicles to us throughout the period the UK has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. These vehicles are used as support and backup vehicles for West Midlands Police. This in turn has ensured West Midlands Police can support the communities we serve.”
A growing number of police and fire services are considering electric and hybrid vehicles, with 13% of the vehicles ordered from Peugeot this year being fully electric.
David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK, said: “It’s a great testament of build quality, reliability and performance that so many of our vehicles continue to be chosen for operational purposes by the UK’s police and fire departments.
“There are few greater tests than the daily use of our police and fire departments, and we look forward to continuing to work with our public services in the future.”
Peugeot has provided more than 5,000 vehicles to police and fire services since 2015 to date.
