Citroen and Peugeot are giving all new van buyers a six-month free subscription to the Free2Move Connect Fleet telematics service.
The system includes real-time tracking, driver behaviour analysis and geofencing.
All the hardware required for the Connect Fleet telematics is already embedded in new Citroen and Peugeot LCV models, meaning these features can be activated over-the-air.
There are three packs available to fleet operators who wish to subscribe to the telematics service after the trial period ends.
Pack One 'Fleet Management' allows users to track distance and time behind the wheel, fuel consumption, mechanical alerts in real-time and automated tracking of maintenance and service alerts.
Pack Two 'Eco-Driving' includes all of the features of Pack One with the addition of the analysis of each user's driving behaviour, including acceleration, braking and cornering as well as providing personalised eco-driving tips.
Pack Three 'Geolocation' incorporates Pack One and Two with geolocation of all fleet vehicles in real-time, timestamped tracking of routes taken and analysis of downtime as well a system to reduce non-essential use allowing configurable geo-fencing.
The usual cost of Pack Three is £12+Vat per month.
Prices for the Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner vans have also been cut by up to £1,200.
