Nissan’s successor to its NV400 large van – Interstar – has been priced from £26,990 (exc VAT).

The van is the largest model in the manufacturer’s revised LCV line-up, which also features the medium Primastar and small Townstar vans.

Interstar can carry up to 17 cu m of cargo, equivalent to five Euro pallets, or 22 cu m with the box van conversion. Items up to 4.4m in length can be accommodated.

It available with an extended range of engines with seven power outputs, from a 112PS unit to 182PS, all based on a 2.3-litre engine updated to the latest Euro 6d and Euro VIe standards.

Interstar is available in four trim levels: Visia, Acenta, Tekna and Tekna+.

The entry-level Visia starts from £26,990 and standard equipment includes a nearside sliding door, ful steel bulkhead, alarm, 50:50 split unglazed rear doors and a DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity.

Acenta, priced from £27,840, features rear parking sensors (on vans and crew vans), cruise control, one-touch driver’s electric window, soundproofing trim on the bulkhead, passenger airbag and a 12v socket in the load compartment of vans/crew vans.

Tekna, priced from £29,040, adds air-conditioning, front fog lights and automatic wipers and headlights. It also features front parking sensors and a rear view camera, as well as a seven-inch NissanConnect system with sat-nav, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Top-of-the-range Tekna+, available from £29,540, adds lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, blindspot detection, auto high/low beam headlights and keyless entry.

Interstar crew vans are priced from £31,990, while the LCV is also available as a dropside single/double cab or tipper factory conversion, or as a chassis single/double cab or platform cab.
