Zenith has extended its contract with Manheim Auction Services to carry out the remarketing of its commercial vehicles.
The new three-year deal will see Zenith commercial vehicles will now be sold onto new buyers through Manheim’s buy now platform, supported by its ‘virtual’ auction platform, ‘Simulcast.’
Manheim says that this will help minimise any costs and time delays associated with moving vehicles around auction centres, with stock held securely in three centralised, dedicated defleet centres.
Stephen Barlow, head of remarketing for Zenith, said: “We’ve worked with Manheim Auctions for more than four years and during that time, through a blend of online and physical auction sales, they have managed to reduce our average days to sell by nearly two thirds.
“Continuing to work with them through a digital-first approach will ensure we continue to reach the right audience for our stock, which in turn will improve average sales values and further reduce days to sell.”
Matthew Davock, director of commercial vehicles at Cox Automotive Europe, added: “Manheim’s commitment to customers is to support their remarketing programmes through several different channels and customers are increasingly looking for a hybrid online/physical model.
“Through our work with Zenith, we have already helped them enjoy great success in their remarketing and are confident we can continue to provide an industry-leading service as we work together throughout the next three years.”
