Vauxhall has confirmed the pricing and specifications for its updated Combo Life and Vivaro Life electric MPVs, which are available to order now.

In line with updates applies to the Stellantis commercial vehicle line-up, Vauxhall's new people carriers benefit from fresh front end styling, new interiors and updated technology.

The electric range of both the Combo Life and Vivaro Life has also been improved.

Combo Life Electric

Thanks to a new electric motor and the fitment of a heat pump, the Combo Life Electric can now travel up to 199 miles between charges. It features a 52kWh battery, has a power output of 136PS and supports charging at 11kW (AC) and 100kW (DC).

Depending on the variant, the Combo Life offers space for up to seven people.

It is available in two vehicle lengths: The 4.41-metre version (L1) offers space for up to five people, while the 4.76-metre version (L2) can optionally accommodate up to seven passengers in three rows. If desired, the Combo Life Electric offers additional flexibility with three individual seats in the second row. 

Depending on the seating configuration, the new Combo Life offers between 775 (L1) and 4,000 litres (L2; up to the roof) of load volume.

The Vauxhall Combo Life Electric is available in two trim levels, Design and Ultimate. Design comes with a multimedia audio system with a 10-inch HD touchscreen, Mirror Screen, 4G connectivity, voice control and Vauxhall Connect.

Combo Life Electric Ultimate adds the Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment system, a panoramic rear-view camera, a heated leather steering wheel and dual-zone electronic climate control. Ultimate trim also features black gloss side-protection mouldings, black painted door mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Pricing starts at £32,180, for the five-seat Design grade, rising to £33,080 for the seven-seat model. The Combo Life Ultimate costs £34,695.

Vivaro Life Electric

The Vivaro Life Electric is now equipped with a 75kWh battery, enabling a range of 217 miles. It uses the same 136PS motor as the Combo Life. A 50kWh battery can also be specified on the Vivaro Life Electric, giving a range of 139 miles.

It is also available in two lengths (4.98 metres and 5.33 metres) and offers space for up to nine people. If desired, it can be configured with four independent seats. Sensor-controlled, electric sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle make it easier to get in and out of rows two and three.

Load volume measures up to 1,500 litres in the configuration with nine seats. With five seats, up to 3,000 litres can be transported and 4,900 litres with two or three people on board.

As standard, the Vivaro Life Electric Combi is equipped with a 10-inch HD touchscreen with wireless smartphone mirroring and Vauxhall Connect, which can be operated through voice recognition. The infotainment system also includes DAB digital radio and 4G connectivity.

Design trim has additional stylish features, including tinted rear windows and tailgate, full diameter wheel trims and body-coloured bumpers. Inside, Vivaro Life Electric Design has mistral black side trim panels with decorative inserts and a premium woven roof trim. Also included is the Acoustic Pack, which adds motor and cabin noise absorbers for a quiet and refined driving experience.

Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric Ultimate contains all the features of Design trim with the addition of TOSCA premium speakers, leather seat trim, dual-zone electronic climate control, a heated leather steering wheel, and heated driver and front passenger seats with massage facility for added comfort. For passengers, there are roof-mounted rear heater controls and rear seat back tables. To ensure optimum convenience, Ultimate trim also includes keyless entry and start, and an automatic anti-dazzle rear view mirror.

Pricing for the Vivaro Life starts at £39,190, for the nine-seat Combi with a 50kWh battery. Models with the larger battery start at £44,590. The range-topping Ultimate model, which can be specified with the VIP seating pack is available from £55,430.
