Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is now accepting orders for the Caddy with a new plug-in hybrid powertrain.
The Caddy Cargo eHybrid has zero-emission range of up to 73 miles, made possible by a 19.7kWh battery.
It uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor, giving a combined output of 150PS.
The battery can be charged at 11kW (AC) and up to 50kW at a public rapid charger.
When equipped with the eHybrid powertrain, the Caddy Cargo benefits from an even more generous payload of up to 740Kg, while providing the same max load length of 2,150mm and up to 3.7 cubic metre load volume.
Prices for the Caddy Cargo eHybrid start at £28,435 (CV OTR). It's available in two lengths - SWB and Maxi - and in Commerce and Commerce Plus trim levels.
