With a little over a month untll doors open at Fleet News’s flagship show Fleet & Mobility Live, sponsored by Octopus Electroverse for Business, pre-registrations have exceeded 1,000 with more than 85% of fleets running vans.

The event, on October 8-9 at the NEC, has a host of features that will appeal to commercial vehicle fleet operators, while many of the 100-plus exhibitors will be offering products and services relevant to the van sector.

Lorna McAtear, head of fleet at National Grid which has a van fleet of 4,500 vans and 260 trucks, and member of the Fleet & Mobility Live Visitor Advisory Board, said: “With so many events in the calendar it can be really hard to work out which ones are relevant to you, especially if you are involved with operating vans.

"Fleet & Mobility Live is one event that does cater to that wider fleet audience and the seminars cover topics relevant to both car and commercial fleet managers. It’s well worth the effort to attend.”

  • Accident management: don’t let spiralling costs crash your business

McAtear said: “Fleet & Mobility Live appeals to van operators for several reasons: industry insights and networking, access to innovative solutions, training and development, sustainability and future mobility, and basic fundamentals behind running a safe, compliant and efficient fleet.

"All these topics and more are covered at the event, and it provides an excellent chance to catch up with industry peers.”

Stephen Briers, Fleet News editor, added: “We have working closely with Lorna and the rest of our Visitor Advisory Board, whose members run cars, vans and trucks, to create a show that will appeal to fleets operating all asset types. Fleet & Mobility Live is a perfect opportunity to learn, connect, share and discover.”
