Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) has announced an exclusive new partnership with Loveelectric to provide cosmetic and alloy protection.
Available for salary sacrifice customers as part of Loveelectric’s optional zero risk guarantee cover, it aims to ensure drivers keep their vehicles in pristine condition throughout the lease term, avoiding unexpected damage charges at the end of the lease and assuring their employer that those costs will not be passed back to them.
Simon Drown, head of specialist products at WSG, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Loveelectric to introduce our industry-leading cosmetic and alloy cover.
“Our protection significantly reduces – and in many cases, eliminates – minor cosmetic repair costs, helping drivers maintain their vehicles throughout their lease.
“Importantly, it also ensures the car meets pre-sale standards at the end of the lease – avoiding unexpected charges for cosmetic or alloy damage.”
Steve Tigar, CEO and founder of Loveelectric, added: “Partnering with WSG allows us to offer drivers even greater protection, ensuring they can enjoy their EV without worrying about unexpected repair costs.
“WSG’s innovative range of cosmetic and alloy protection is an invaluable addition to our offering. This partnership reinforces our commitment to transparency and customer confidence, ensuring drivers can return their vehicle at the end of their lease with peace of mind, knowing they’re protected from unforeseen cosmetic or alloy damage.”
The cosmetic protection covers scratches or dents up to 30cm in diameter and stone chip repairs up to 3mm, with a maximum claim limit of £3,000 (including VAT).
There is also a £300 contribution towards a body shop repair if mobile repair is not possible.
In terms of alloy protection, it covers painted, powder-coated, diamond-cut, matte-finish, and powder chrome alloy wheels, with up to 10 repairs or refurbishments per lease term.
There is also a £200 contribution per wheel towards a replacement if repair isn’t possible.
