Logistics Manager - City of London
Our client is a commercial fit out contractor that works on projects across London and deals with very exclusive clients.
They are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to work on a Commercial Office Fitout project in Canary Wharf. This project is expected to run until November 2025 with a requirement for someone that is happy to work overtime and weekends as needed.
The ideal Logistics Manager will have:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a logistics Manager on office fit out projects
Experience working in live environments
The ability to develop and implement a logistics strategy that aligns with project objectives and timelines.
Expertise in coordinating material and equipment deliveries, ensuring timely availability and efficient storage on-site.
Strong skills in managing site traffic and vehicle access to maintain safety and prevent congestion.
A thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a commitment to promoting sustainable logistics practices.
Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed, provide regular updates, and resolve logistical challenges promptly.
Excellent computer skills and familiar with MS Project, Excel and Office
Excellent written English and paperwork skillsJob details:

Standard Hours: Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm
Salary: £23 ph CIS
