LEX Vehicle Leasing has won a sale and leaseback deal to supply vehicles to Forth Ports. Lex beat seven of its close rivals to win the contract hire deal with Forth Ports, which operates six ports on the east coast of Scotland and Tilbury in Essex.

The company has 200 vehicles and the existing fleet was bought by Lex then leased back on three-year/60,000-mile contracts with full maintenance. With the exception of a few executive and senior management cars, all vehicles are Ford and each driver will use Lex's One-Call service. The contract was awarded after a comprehensive review of all funding options and suppliers.
