COMPETITION is hotting up for team places in the 1998 RAC-Fleet News Five-a-Side Charity Soccer Challenge, run in association with Royal & SunAlliance and being held at Arsenal Football Club in north London on Saturday, June 6. Open to 40 teams from across the fleet and motor manufacturing industries and launched last month tournament registration packs have so far been snapped up by more than 30 companies.
Of those, 12 have returned official registration forms, collectively requesting a total of 16 team places. Registered contenders to date include Hartwell Motor Contracts, Swan National, The Cable Corporation, Arriva Automotive Solutions, Marshall Leasing, Ryland Multifleet, Leasedrive and Automotive Leasing. The RAC, Fleet News and Royal & SunAlliance are each fielding two teams and Motability is also entering its own team.
