THE Government's annual campaign against drink-driving has been launched. Using the millennium as a focus for the month-long television, radio and poster campaign, it urges people to 'make it a night to remember, not one to forget'.

In December last year 142,500 people were breathalysed and 8,100 tested positive. A survey of 1,274 motorists, including 256 company car drivers, said the law was too soft on drink-drivers.
