BMW has announced UK specification and pricing for the new 3-series coupe range, which goes on sale on June 10. The 323Ci, powered by a 170bhp 2.5-litre six-cylinder engine, will cost £25,950 on the road, with the bigger 193bhp 328Ci coming in at £28,995. A four-cylinder 118bhp 318Ci will join the range in the autumn and its price will be announced nearer launch. There will be no replacement for the 316i Coupe.
The prices are higher than for the outgoing Coupe, but BMW points out that the car has a higher specification. As standard, all models will come with air conditioning, ABS, remote alarm, power seats, cornering brake control, traction control, active stability control, alloy wheels (16in on 323Ci, 17in on 328Ci) and six airbags. All coupes also feature stiffer M Technic suspension
BMW is also claiming that service costs will be up to 30% lower than previously thanks to longer service intervals.
