THE Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 12v Trip hatchback is the cheapest car to run in Britain at 13.1 pence per mile over three years/60,000 miles, according to CAP Motor Research's Top 40 May Value for Money chart.
It has knocked the Perodua Nippa off its perch as joint No.1 in last month's chart with the Malaysian import dropping to 13.4ppm due to a worsening residual value. The SEAT Arosa 1.0 MPi three-door and 1.7 SDi three-door takes third and fourth spots on 13.8ppm and 14.2ppm.
