VEHICLE preparation and transport company Eurofleet has expanded its business by opening a new site in Scotland to cater for the growing demand in the north. The 20-acre site, located next to the M8 motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, has storage space for up to 3,000 vehicles and includes vehicle inspection facilities, a spray booth production line and dedicated smart (small medium area repair techniques) repair facilities.

The Livingston site, situated 15 minutes' drive from Edinburgh airport, also houses four service bays, a pre-delivery inspection area and valeting facilities. Eurofleet has chosen the site to handle the increasing volume of vehicles being hired from daily rental fleets at Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. The company, subject of a management buy-out from parent company British Car Auctions in April 1999 is planning a £250,000 investment at the site during the first quarter of this year in new equipment.
