Models affected include much of the Ibiza range, the Leon, Toledo and Alhambra. The new Arosa range will go on sale in January at the same price as the outgoing model, but with improved performance and equipment levels, and the Cordoba range remains unchanged following price cuts in March.
SEAT says the Ibiza represents 8% better value with lower prices and free alloy wheels on S models. Leon S variants are up to £1,000 cheaper and have free alloy wheels and the 1.8 20V T Cupra is now £3,000 less with the deletion of leather and electric seats as standard.
Toledos have been cut by between £600 and £1,100, while the V5 has a power boost from 150bhp to 170bhp.
John Abbott, managing director of SEAT UK, said: 'These pricing and product alterations demonstrate SEAT's intention to offer exceptional value for money and ensure we go into 2001 with a very competitive product and price policy.'
