THE fleet industry will be taking to the water next month when Emap Automotive - publisher of Fleet NewsNet - holds the annual Automotive Industry Yachting Challenge. To be held on June 20/21 at Port Solent, Portsmouth, the AIYC allows companies to invite clients to help crew 36ft racing yachts under the watchful eye of an experienced skipper.

Companies and their guests will arrive the day before racing on the Solent for dinner and a briefing. Racing will be followed by a champagne reception and prizegiving before departure. Yachts can accommodate six people, plus the skipper and cost £1,950 per day or £1,750 per day for the two days.
