A PAN-European call centre to handle enquiries from General Motors' fleet customers in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland has gone on line at Vauxhall's Luton HQ.

The operation, staffed by representatives fluent in the respective mother tongues, will expand to cover the whole of Europe for Opel, Cadillac and Chevrolet cars and vans alongside the existing Vauxhall set-up. Vauxhall was selected as the new Euro-base for all centres after an international survey of corporate and retail customer care services last year.
