SIEMENS Metering Services has taken delivery of 93 custom-equipped Citroen Berlingos on a 72,000/four-year contract hire agreement with Arval PHH. The company, which operates nationwide, has specified Berlingo 1.9D LX 800 vans for use by its meter operations and account recovery divisions, which provides service for the customers of 16 electricity and gas suppliers in the UK.

Citroen commercial specialist dealer Tim Brinton Euro Cars supplied the new vehicles. Siemens added various Citroen options to the standard Berlingo specifications such as remote central locking with alarm and deadlocks, rear window grilles and a full internal bulkhead. In addition Bowbridge Panel Company has designed and installed an internal racking system.
