MANUFACTURERS pre-registered just 65 cars worth £665,970 during December, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Only seven manufacturers pre-registered any vehicles, with Ford listing 21 in the figures released this month, Toyota 17, Vauxhall 14, Citroen 9 and Hyundai 2, with Suzuki and Volkswagen listing one each.
