THE Princess Royal has unveiled the newly refurbished visitors centre and showroom at MG Rover's Longbridge plant.

The opening of the centre completes an £8 million revamp of the plant into the firm's headquarters. John Towers, chairman of MG Rover said: 'We have made many significant achievements since May 2000, and the transformation of this site to an international headquarters is something we are extremely proud of.'
