ARVAL PHH is investing £1 million in a new online vehicle rental booking service for its customers.

The hi-tech system will allow drivers to book rental vehicles and fleet managers will be able to receive live data on bookings and reservations.

It will be accessed through the firm's InterActive online fleet management system and further developments are planned. The system is being introduced in-house to undergo extensive trials before rolling out to customers in a few month's time and comes as the leasing firm's rental division celebrates reaching a landmark one million vehicle rentals this year.
