FAST-FIT specialist National Fleet has won two new contracts with leasing and fleet management companies Ignition Vehicle Management and Zenith Vehicle Contracts.

Bristol-based Ignition Vehicle Management has signed up National Fleet to provide mobile tyre checking and fitment services to its customers.

The deal includes provision of a 24-hour call centre and booking line for drivers.

Roddy Graham, managing director of Ignition Vehicle Management, said: 'Expenditure on tyres inevitably represents one of the largest investments for many fleets, so ensuring quality and service levels are maintained while costs are kept to a minimum is a priority.

'The increasing number of drivers taking cash-for-car options also means far more fragmentation within fleets, so offering a home and office tyre checking and fitment service allows our customers to retain complete control over this cost centre.'

Zenith Vehicle Contracts has taken on National Fleet to manage pre-emptive service bookings and support for its 8,000-strong fleet.

National Fleet will monitor all vehicles and contact drivers a month prior to vehicle servicing due dates via e-mail, SMS messages and letters to arrange a date at one of its approved service outlets.

National Fleet account manager Mike Daniels said: 'The agreement will direct drivers to their preferred outlets for vehicle servicing at the appropriate mileage and improve driver service levels by offering 'call and collect', loan car and 'wash and vac' where possible.'
