FLEETS can pick-up bargain hybrid vehicles for less than £10,000 on the Honda UK website at www.honda.co.uk.

Having covered an average of 8,000 miles, the two-seater petrol-electric Insight hybrid coupes are only a few months old and represent a significant saving over the new cost of £17,000.

Shaun Wootton, Honda used vehicle sales manager, said: 'This is a rare bargain and one that is unlikely to be repeated.

'With sprightly performance, economy of more than 80mpg and only £70 road tax, the Insight is a terrific example of how high technology can cut the cost of motoring.'

    The 180-vehicle closed sale, which also included 1998 and 1999 registered cars, was attended by more than 50 registered dealers.

    The new Jazz and CR-V models performed strongly, with 93.2% and 94% of current list price, while the Civic Type-R achieved 94.4%.
