AEA Technology has signed a three-years solus deal with Citroen for the majority of its 450-strong company car fleet.

The new arrangement will see AEA contract hire 100 Citroen C5s, both 1.8-litre petrol and common rail diesel models, 60 Xsara Picasso HDI LXs and a few C3s annually for the next three years.

Terry Parker, AEA's procurement manager, said: 'Our decision to go for C3s, C5s and Xsara Picassos has been influenced by their low wholelife costs, high levels of safety equipment and Citroen's attention to reducing the environmental impact of its cars.'

The company will lease the new fleet from Activa Contracts, part of Arnold Clark Finance.
