• JON Pinnington has been appointed to head up the fixed cost maintenance division of Bethell Fleet Services. He will take responsibility for the broker network, on-going development and new product lines for the company. Pinnington joined Bethell last year after seven years at CitiCapital Fleet.

  • HERTZ has made two new appointments in its sales department. Andrea O'Hagan and Maggie McGuire are the new corporate national account managers reporting to Paul Green. O'Hagan joins Hertz from a business-to-business sales and marketing role. McGuire was previously with the New York Stock Exchange and before that was a consultant for Pricewaterhouse-Coopers.

  • EPYX has expanded its 1link sales operation by making two new appointments. Steve Bate becomes product sales manager for the online ordering process. He joins after 10 years with cfc solutions. Jon Tandy joins the team as telemarketing executive where his role will involve recruiting dealerships.

  • AFTER four years with Fleetlease David Smith has been promoted to key accounts sales manager. Smith was previously responsible for business development. In his new role he will be targeting companies with larger fleets.

  • LUKE Clarke has been appointed product marketing manager – auto electrical in Hella's marketing team. Hella produce alternators, starters and wipers and Clarke's remit is to increase aftermarket share and raise Hella's profile in the independent sector.

  • SIMON Robson has been appointed business manager within Autoglass' strategic business team. Robson has worked as an account manager in both the insurance and glass markets. For the last three years he was with GE Capital.

  • TONY Miller has recently taken on the role of van sales specialist with Priory LDV of Nottingham. Miller was previously with Advanced Vehicle Builders as a sales representative.

  • DAVID Best has joined Mitsubishi Motors as a general manager. He takes responsibility for the day-to-day running of customer services, technical services and warranty departments. Best has more than 25 years' experience in the motor industry since joining Ford in 1977.

  • SKODA has appointed Robert East as business sales manager for its south east region. East joins the company from Lombard Vehicle Management where he was business development manager. He has worked in the motor industry since leaving university and began his career with Hartwell.

  • TINA De Simone joins Thrifty Car Rental as internet and online promotions manager. She joins from the IT industry.
