REFRIGERATION and air conditioning specialist Ryan-Jayberg has placed an order with Fleet Alliance for the supply of 40 extra vans to keep its service engineers on the move.

It currently operates a mixed fleet of 110 vehicles, 70 vans and 40 cars, mainly on contract hire. The company recently went out to tender to three contract hire and leasing suppliers for an order for 40 new vans for its fleet of mobile service engineers, and selected the newly-formed Fleet Alliance, a national network of fleet professionals.

Fleet Alliance has now delivered 40 vans to Ryan-Jayberg. These consist of 25 Ford Transit Connect 220 SWB 1.8 TDi diesels, and 15 Nissans LCVs – eight diesel 2800 SWB 1.9D Interstars and seven 2700 SWB 1.9 dCi Primastars. Modifications included alarms and ply-lining.
