CITROEN has launched a Euro IV diesel C3 along with increasing safety features across the range.

The Euro IV diesel is a 70bhp 1.4 HDi engine available in L specification. The new entry-level diesel also includes ABS with electronic brake force distribution – now standard across the C3 range – and is priced at £10,300 on-the-road.

Company car drivers will be liable for benefit-in-kind tax based on 15% of the car's P11d price, instead of 18% for Euro III-compliant diesels.

Meanwhile, a 1.1 Desire model has been added with air conditioning, remote central locking, a CD player and four airbags, priced at £9,595 on-the-road.
